About Homeschooling with AI

Hello, I'm Kathryn, and my journey as a "Solo Mom" began at just 20 years old with Kyra. Parenting alone brings its own unique set of challenges, but it also ignites an unwavering dedication to go above and beyond for our children. I understood the immense value of early communication and embraced everything from classical music and singing to the "Your Baby Can Read" system, giving my daughter the best head start I possibly could.

Despite my efforts, nothing could shield her from the effects of the relentless bullying she faced at school. It was then that I made the difficult yet empowering decision to homeschool her.

Homeschooling seemed daunting at first. How could I, a math 20 dropout, become her teacher when I struggled in the past? It seemed impossible, but love has a miraculous way of overcoming fear. I dedicated myself to learning everything needed.

Technology became a cornerstone of her education because it meant she could come on the plane, in the car and to work with me no matter where I went. I meticulously vetted every application on her tablet, ensuring each one added educational value, changing them out monthly to keep pace with her progress. Parental controls became my trusted ally.

Fast forward over a decade, and I now have three amazing children and a wonderful husband. Together, we've hosted field trips, coached sports teams, and journeyed across the continent. Everywhere we went, we found communities filled with passionate experts willing to share their knowledge and spark joy in learning.

These experiences have been invaluable. I actually leaned so much through my own learning methods that I returned to school as an adult and obtained my accounting degree. I gained entrance to the university through open studies with a 4.0 GPA in all of my courses. I completed my degree solely online, from home while owning a candy store and homeschooling my girls!
